Wrapping Up 2018

2018 has been such a monumental and joyous year for me, now three years removed from a nearly-9 year stint working at HBO, now as an archival producer in the freelance world. I never could have imagined getting to work with the talent producers, directors and editors I have in such a short time, and I am incredibly excited to share a number of projects already in the works for 2019.

It has been incredibly humbling to see the overwhelming positive response to ESPN’s 20 hour Basketball: A Love Story documentary project that I had the privilege to work on for 3 years. Additionally, the 30 for 30 project SEAU, currently available on the ESPN+ platform, has shed light on an incredibly important issue while shining a light on one of football’s most beloved figures, Junior Seau.

To wrap up the year, I am excited to be sharing another 30 for 30 project that will be premiering on Tuesday December 11th at 9PM. 42 to 1 recounts the historic, greatest sports upset of all time, when James “Buster” Douglas knocked out Mike Tyson in Tokyo back in 1990. From ESPN’s Ben Houser and Jeremy Schaap, here is the trailer:

Thank you all, happy holidays, and best wishes for making 2019 your best year yet.
