A Three-Fer!

I am so excited to be sharing news of two upcoming projects that have formal release dates. First up is the feature-length doc that captured the emotional final days of Roger Federer’s legendary tennis career, “Federer: Twelve Final Days.” The film will premiere on June 20 on Prime Video, as well as at the Tribeca Film Festival, and other festivals to be announced around the world. The doc was helmed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Asif Kapadia, and also was an opportunity to tune up with the wonderful producer George Chignell, who I previously worked with on the “Boom! Boom!” doc about Boris Becker.

Next up is the ESPN 30 for 30 doc “False Positive,” which investigates the false positive drug test that late 80s track star Butch Reynold received after a race, derailing his career and potential to go down as one of the great sprinters of all time. Check out the full slate of ESPN 30 for 30 docs trailer below, which includes a snipper of the film:

Lastly, “Open Heart,” the doc about Rangers Hall of Fame hockey legend Henrik Lundqvist, which premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, will finally make its wide debut on May 17th on Netflix. Be sure to check it out!
